Microservice Terminal Simulator

This week has not been that exciting. I have been mostly working on documentation and bug fixing.

Bug fixing

Bugs keep popping up in the TOS. My continuous refactoring and migration of the original prototype TOS code is showing its limits. It is not part of my scope, so I kept the refactoring as simple as possible. But this resulted into more work than I initially expected.

This week I have encountered some deadlock bugs. I do not know if these bugs are related to the TOS or the simulation. I assume it is the TOS as the simulation uses concurrent collections in all the data services. For now, the bugs are not a big issue as long I can fix them before the demo in four weeks. The focus for now is on the documentation.

Documentation

The hand-in date for my final portfolio is June 15, 2021. In a couple of weeks, I will have to finished all of my documentation. I am currently behind on my documentation and need to pick up the speed. So, this week I have been mostly working on the documentation.

The portfolio should proof my competences in the ICT field. It does so with several documents, demos, and source code. When it is finished, I will add a download link of it on the home page.
